Who is Joseph S. Freedman?
Joseph S. Freedman is Professor of Education at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. His area of research is philosophy and teaching methods in Central Europe from 1500 to 1700, and he publishes extensively on the history of philosophy and history of education. Trained and certified in library science, he is also Assistant Professor of Library Media at ASU. Freedman teaches in K–12 settings and organizes teleconferences and panels on topics pertaining to K-12 education, librarianship, history, and philosophy.
