Who is Joseph Sexton?
Joseph Sexton is an American journalist who has been the metropolitan news editor of The New York Times since 2006. Previously, he had been deputy metropolitan news editor since 2003.
As deputy metropolitan news editor for investigations and enterprise, among the series he oversaw was one by Clifford J. Levy on the abuse of mentally ill adults in group homes in New York which won the Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting in 2003.
