Who is Josh Mora?
Josh Mora is an American sportscaster, author and blogger who has covered the Chicago Blackhawks for Comcast Sportsnet Chicago and the Buffalo Sabres for Empire Sports Network. He also hosted many of the CSN Sportsnite shows and covered baseball, basketball and feature stories. He has been a columnist and blogger for Thefourthperiod.com and Weseed.com. His current blog is 40yearoldnothing.wordpress.com.
Mora wrote the children's book, The Magic Uniform, and is currently writing a book based on his experience looking for work following his controversial dismissal from Comcast Sportsnet Chicago. He has won two Telly Awards, five local Sportscaster of the Year Awards, and he has received numerous Emmy nominations, including one following his release from the network.
Currently, Mora is the Program Director for both the Sports Marketing and Media Online Bachelor of Science Degree and the Sports Marketing and Media Campus Bachelor of Science Degree at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
Born in Highland Park, Illinois, Mora attended the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago. He graduated with honors from Amherst College in 1992, and was a 3-year member of the Amherst College Varsity Hockey team. He has a Master's in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and was Valedictorian and Advanced Achiever for his class. Mora lives in Florida with his wife and two daughters.
