Who was Józef Jeżowski?
Józef Jeżowski was a Polish philologist and poet. Friend of Adam Mickiewicz and Tomasz Zan. Founder of the Philomatic Association, in 1824 convicted by the Russian Empire activity for pro-Polish activity and exiled into Russia. Allowed to lecture at Kazan State University and later Moscow University.
