Who was József Csermák?
József Csermák was a Hungarian athlete, who competed in hammer throw. He won the gold medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics, throwing 60.34 metres. He thereby became the first to throw over 60 metres, and captured the world record of teammate Imre Németh.
