Who was Jules de Polignac?
Prince Jules de Polignac, 3rd Duke of Polignac, was a French statesman. He was an ultra-royalist politician after the Revolution and prime minister under Charles X just before the 1830 July Revolution which overthrew the Bourbon dynasty.
