Who is Junichiro Ito?
Junichiro Ito is a Japanese psychiatrist, and a medical researcher. He currently is the director of the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation, National Institute of Mental Health, which is a part of the National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry of Japan. Ito's research interests include Assertive Community Treatment, and help programs for socially withdrawn individuals, called hikikomori.
