Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa or J. P. Rajkhowa is the former Chief Secretary of Assam, a state in north-eastern part of India. He is a retired Indian Administrative Service Officer from 1968 batch. He did M.A in Economics from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India. Earlier Mr Rajkhowa finished his schooling from Jorhat Government High School, Intermediate in Arts from J.B College, Jorhat, and B.A in Economics from Cotton College, Guwahati.
