Who was Karandash?
Mikhail Nikolayevich Rumyantsev, better known under his stage name Karandash, was a famous Soviet clown. He was a People's Artist of the USSR, and was the teacher of the famous Russian clowns Oleg Popov and Yuri Nikulin.
