Who was Karim Buzarjomehri?

General Karim Agha Khan Buzarjomehri was a leading Iranian military general and supporter of Reza Pahlavi.

Buzarjomehri started military training at 13 years of age, and became Reza Khan's most trusted figures.

Buzarjomehri was a brutal major general. He personally executed Mahmud Khan Puladeen on charges of revolting against Reza Khan in 1927; General Puladeen managed to survive 21 bullets from the firing squad. Major General Buzarjomehri promptly went up to the wounded Puladeen took out his pistol and shot him in the head, finishing the execution.

He fled Tehran along with Reza Khan during World War II, and he even carried out his last mission of accompanying the dead body of Reza Khan back to Iran.
