Who is Kat Shoob?
Katherine 'Kat' Elizabeth Shoob is a British dj, television and radio presenter, currently co-presenting the The Vodafone Big Top 40 & Capital London Breakfast show as well as hosting her own Hits Of the Year shows. She was born in Rochford, England, but grew up in Horseman's Green, Wales, and went to Bronington Primary School.
Shoob did a 5 page spread for Maxim in September 2004. Shoob presented The Mint, a phone-in quiz that was shown on ITV and ITV2. She also co-hosted Playdate alongside Kate Lawler and Brendan Courtney. She was the anchor for The Hub, a computer Games round up TV show Monday to Friday
Shoob formerly worked on radio alongside Bam Bam and Streetboy on the Capital Evening Show during 2007, as well as working on "The Bam Bam Daily" Internet show in 2006 and 2007, with features including "Kat Shoob's World News'.
Shoob formerly co-hosted the 95.8 Capital weeknight slot alongside Rich Clarke until December 2010.
As of 14 June 2009, Shoob and Clarke hosted The Vodafone Big Top 40 which counts down the 40 highest selling downloads of the week according to iTunes downloads. Clarke then left with Shoob co-hosting with Marvin Humes from the boy band JLS.
