He is amongst anime's most foremost directors, having directed and helmed the entire Rurouni Kenshin series, the You're Under Arrest series, GetBackers, Hunter × Hunter, Zipang, Le Chevalier D'Eon, Real Drive and most recently, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
