Who was K. Hanumanthaiah?
Kengal Hanumanthaiah, also spelt as Kengal Hanumanthaiya, was the second Chief Minister of Karnataka from 30 March 1952 to 19 August 1956. He is best remembered for his vision and contribution to the construction of Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the state legislature.
