Who is Kennedy Mitchell?

Kennedy Mitchell is a currency trader and published writer, his works include "Single Stock Futures; An Investor's Guide" John Wiley & Sons, Inc., Copyright 2003. Mitchell is credited with developing several new trading strategies that were previously not available prior to the introduction of single stock futures in the United States.

He also introduced new option trading strategies based on the VIX Volatility Index, published by the Chicago Board Options Exchange, that were featured in numerous Barron's Magazine articles. These articles popularized his trading approach and resulted in the index value being published in every subsequent version of the magazine.

Kennedy Mitchell is the great-grandson of former Connecticut Senator and Congressman William Kennedy, and the son of Kennedy Mitchell Sr. for whom the Kennedy Mitchell Hall of Records, located in New Haven, Connecticut is named.
