Who is Kevin Nadal?

Kevin Nadal, Ph.D. is an author, comedian, and professor of psychology. He is a researcher and leading expert on the effects of discrimination on racial/ ethnic minority people and lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender individuals. He has been a guest on O'Reilly Factor on Fox News and a commentator on The History Channel and PBS. He has been featured several times on The Filipino Channel and in Filipinas Magazine. He is the author of the books, Filipino American Psychology: A Handbook of Theory, Research, and Clinical Practice and That's So Gay! Microaggressions and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community. In 2006, he was named one of the hottest bachelors of People Magazine. He performs his comedy and poetry at the world famous Nuyorican Poets Cafe and Bowery Poetry Club in New York City. In 2014, Nadal married RJ Mendoza, a community organizer with the New York City Anti-Violence Project and writer.
