Who is Kirk Palmer?
Kirk Palmer is an Australian freestyle swimmer and an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder.
He was selected in the squad for the 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay for the 2008 Summer Olympics. He helped Australia qualify sixth in the heats, but was dropped from the finals quartet to make way for Grant Hackett and Patrick Murphy. Australia took bronze in the final.
He was also a member of the 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay that broke the short course World Record on 31 August 2007.
