Kopparapu Sodara Kavulu consists of Kopparapu Venkata Subbaraya Kavi and Kopparapu Venkataramana Kavi. They were famous poets and well known for conducting Avadhanams. They were born to Venkatarayalu and Subbamamba at Kopparam village in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, India. They were trained under Ramadugu Krishna Sastry and Potharaju Ramakavi and exhibited extempoer poetry at a very young age.
