Who is Korina Sanchez?
Korina Maria Sanchez-Roxas is a Filipina broadcast journalist, television news anchor, senior field correspondent, magazine show host, radio anchor and newspaper columnist. She is currently Chief Correspondent for the Integrated News and Current Affairs Division of ABS-CBN Corporation airing on TV Channel 2, AM Radio DZMM and cable TV ANC.
Korina attended St. Theresa's College in Quezon City for her elementary and secondary education, and then Maryknoll College, where she dropped out. Her first love was writing, but not so active in extra-curriculars like singing, theater, public speaking, and high school varsity volleyball. In college, Korina did not excel in courses related to creative writing, thesis writing and speech. Sanchez had inclinations towards the performing arts but believed her "calling had always been in the field of information and communication" and maintains that, before being an on-camera personality, she is "first, a politicians wife".
