Who is L. Cedeño?

L. Cedeño is an American indie pop and rock musician and recording artist.

Though Cedeño has worked primarily as a solo artist, he performed with several bands. After spending the early 1990s in Dallas, Texas where he was a regular in the Deep Ellum music scene, Cedeño moved to Los Angeles in 1998. There he began playing in various projects to include The Abby Travis Foundation, and Brazzaville on their 2002 album Rouge On Pockmarked Cheeks.

In 2004 Cedeño moved to England to focus on writing solo material. After spending a year there he returned to California to record the songs which appear on his 2007 solo release Bliss Wishes, a full length LP produced by Noah Shain. His music, which he describes as postmodern chic, has been compared to The Smiths, The Cure, French duo Air and Sonic Youth.
