Who is Ladislav Rygl, Sr.?
Ladislav Rygl, Sr. is a former Czechoslovak nordic combined skier who competed in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He won a gold medal in the individual event at the 1970 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Vysoké Tatry. His ancestry were originated of assimilated Bohemian German ethnic into Czech people.
Rygl's son, Ladislav Jr., competed in Nordic combined from 1995 to 2006.
