Who is Larry Hoover?
Larry Hoover was the leader and founder of the Chicago street gang called Gangster Disciples. Hoover is currently serving a life sentence in state prison for an August 1973 murder. He was later convicted in 1997 of drug conspiracy, extortion, money laundering, and running a continuing criminal enterprise for leading the gang from state prison.
