Who was Lars Johannes Irgens?
Lars Johannes Irgens was a Norwegian jurist and politician.
He was born in Hof in Solør. He graduated as cand.jur. in 1802, and was appointed district stipendiary magistrate in Sogn the same year. He was a member of the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814.
He is the father of later government minister Nils Christian Irgens.
