Who is Lee Tunnell?
Byron Lee Tunnell is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. Tunnell pitched all or part of six seasons in the majors, between 1982 and 1989, for the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, and Minnesota Twins. He also pitched three seasons in Nippon Professional Baseball, from 1991 until 1993, for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks.
Following his playing career, Tunnell coached in the minor leagues for several years, including a brief stint as interim pitching coach with the Cincinnati Reds in 2006. In July 2012, he was named interim bullpen coach of the Milwaukee Brewers.
