Who is Lensey Namioka?
Lensey Chao Namioka is a Chinese-born American writer of children's books and a mathematician. She was born in Beijing, the third daughter of Chao Yuen Ren. Her best-known work may be the short story "The All American Slurp". She has written about China and Chinese American families. She has written about Japan, her husband's native country, especially Samurai stories.
