Who was Léon Dion?
Léon Dion, OC OQ was a Quebec political scientist.
Dion was born in Saint-Arsène de Rivière-du-Loup. He founded the department of political science at Université Laval with Gérard Bergeron and Maurice Tremblay in 1954.
He was the father of the former federal minister and former Liberal leader Stéphane Dion.
