Who is Leonard George?
Leonard George is a Canadian psychologist based in Vancouver, British Columbia, best known for his writing and lectures on varieties of anomalous phenomenon, spirituality, psychology and history.
He is the author of two extensively annotated reference works on paranormal experience and religious history. The Washington Post included his Crimes of Perception: An Encyclopedia of Heresies and Heretics in a 1995 round-up of notable religion themed books.
George is a clinical psychologist, writer, lecturer and occasional broadcaster; his academic affiliations include Capilano University, the University of British Columbia and the Psychology Clinic at Simon Fraser University. He has offered seminars across North America and Europe.
