Lt. Col. Alexander Joseph Wolff was a British officer who served under the Duke of Wellington.

Lt. Col. Alexander Joseph Wolff was born in Badon, Austria in 1788. His father, an army officer, was killed at the "Battle of Lake Constance" around the year 1800. He became an orphan but was fortunate to be adopted by a British Army Officer. As a result he served in the British Army under the Duke of Wellington.
