Who is Luboš Hilgert?
Luboš Hilgert is a Czechoslovak-Czech slalom canoer who competed in the 1980s and 1990s. He won five medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with a silver and four bronzes.
Hilgert also competed in two Summer Olympics, earning his best finish of 18th in the K-1 event at Atlanta in 1996 Summer Olympics.
He is the husband of Štěpánka Hilgertová, a slalom canoer who competed for Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic in six Summer Olympics. Their son Luboš Hilgert is also an active slalom canoer.
