Lucia Arana

Who is Lucia Arana?

Lucia Arana was born in Lima, Peru, 1981. She studied at the University of Lima where she graduated with honors from the College of Communications, majoring in advertising and graphic design.

At the same time, she studied photography at different prestigious schools in the United States, such as the Julia Dean Photographic Workshop, the Maine Media Workshops, the Santa Fe Workshops, and the International Centre of Photography. She also studied at the London College of Communications. In these workshops, Lucia had the opportunity to learn from recognized photographers such as Norman Jean Roy, Platon, Joe McNally, Judd Pilosoff, and Andrew Eccles, among others.

All this made her decide to co-fund, in conjunction with Vanessa Levaggi, her own photography studio called Zul Studio in 2005.

She has exhibited her nude pictures in the Photo Pluss Gallery and The Tasting Room in New York City.

In 2008, she signed a contract with Global Assignments of Getty Images, based in New York City, to be represented at an international level, entering a new stage in her career.
