Who is Luke Adamson?

Luke Adamson is an English rugby league and rugby union footballer who currently plays for Halifax RLFC in the Kingstone Press Championship. He formerly played at club level for Bath Rugby and also Leigh East ARLFC, and Salford City Reds in Super League, as a Second-row.

A powerful young forward tipped for a very big future in the professional game. Luke attended St Ambrose College in Hale Barns where he made his mark in Rugby Union as a strong running centre.

He also represented Cheshire but his Rugby League apprenticeship was served with the famous Leigh East amateur club where he spent three years.

Adamson made his Salford début versus Wakefield in 2006 and has been ever present since then. He is also an England academy player, representing his country versus Australia.

At the end of the 2012 Super League season, Adamson left Salford due to the club's financial troubles, and returned to Rugby Union when he signed for Bath Rugby.

His brother Toby Adamson also plays for the Salford City Reds.
