Who is Maarten Arens?
'Maarten Johannes Arens is a Dutch judoka. European Champion 1995 in Birmingham in the 86 kg categorie, 4 times Dutch champion, Winner Tournoi de Paris in 2000 in the 81 kg category. At the Sydney Olympics partial 9the place in 81 kg category.
In 2001 he started as national junior coach of the Dutch juo federation, among his pupils: Dex Elmont, Jeroen Mooren, Henk Grol. In 2005 he became National Headcoach Men of the Netherlands. In this period: three world champions, 2 bronze medals at Beiijng Olympics
