Who was Madhavrao I?
Madhav Rao I was fourth Peshwa of the Maratha Empire. Under his peshwaship, Maratha power recovered from the losses suffered during the Panipat Campaign, a phenomena known as "Maratha Resurrection". He is considered one of the greatest personalities of the Maratha history.
