Who is Maia Lewis?
Maia Ann Mereana Lewis, MNZM, is a cricketer and a former captain of the New Zealand women's cricket team. As of July 2005, Lewis has played in nine women's Test matches, captaining in two of them. She was born in Christchurch, New Zealand.
In the 2006 Queen's Birthday Honours, Lewis was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to women's cricket.
