Who is Marc-Antoine Fortuné?

Marc-Antoine Fortuné is a French footballer who plays as a striker for Wigan Athletic.

Fortuné started his professional career at Angoulême in 1998, and made 63 league appearances in four seasons before switching to Lille in 2002, where he made 16 league appearances. He spent the 2003-04 season on loan to Rouen, making 34 league appearances, and switched permanently to Stade Brest in July 2004. He made 33 league appearances in his single season at Stade Brest, and moved to Utrecht in 2005, where he made 53 league appearances. He joined AS Nancy in January 2007, and made 71 league appearances, also spending a six-month loan to West Bromwich Albion from January 2009 until the end of the 2009-10 season. Having made 17 appearances for West Brom, he joined Celtic in July 2009, and made 32 appearances in his solitary season for the club. He rejoined West Brom in August 2010, this time on a permanent deal, and made 62 league appearances for the club, also spending a month on loan to Doncaster Rovers in 2011, making 5 league appearances for the club. He joined current club Wigan Athletic in July 2013.
