Who is Mario Frieiro?

Mario Frieiro is an Argentine murderer who was sentenced on November 26, 2007 to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife in 1998. One night in 1998 Frieiro was arguing with his wife and attacked her. He strangled her with a handkerchief while their young son witnessed the murder. After killing her Frieiro buried his wife under his bed and threatened his son to never tell anyone about the crime. The boy didn't report the crime until 2005 when he was a teenager. The now teenage son burst into tears with his girlfriend and told her what had happened in 1998. Four hours later Frieiro was arrested and charged with murder. When the son reported it police went to Frieiro's house and found the remains of a woman under Frieiro's bed. He was officially arrested and charged with murder.

The trial began on October, 2007. On November 26, 2007 he was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
