Who is Marlan Scully?

Marlan Orvil Scully is an American physicist best known for his work in theoretical quantum optics. He is currently a professor at Texas A&M University and Princeton University. However, in 2012 he will develop a lab at the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative in Waco, Texas.

He has authored over 700 scientific articles, as well as standard textbooks such as “Laser Physics” and “Quantum Optics”.
