Who is Martin John Callanan?
Martin John Callanan is a conceptual and performance artist working in London. He has lectured at the Slade School of Fine Art since 2008. Exhibitions include White Cube Mason's Yard, Or Gallery, Berlin, Casal Solleric, Spain, Whitechapel Gallery, London, Imperial War Museum and Whitstable Biennale. In 2013 Callanan was awarded the Philip Leverhulme Prize, an award for young academic researchers. Callanan is engaged to the artist Katie Paterson and lives in Berlin.
