Who was Marty Walsh?
Martin J. Walsh was a Canadian amateur, later professional, ice hockey forward who played for the Ottawa Senators, winning three Stanley Cups in 1909, 1910 and 1911 and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. After his hockey-playing days were over, he moved to Edmonton to work and in 1914 fell ill and was in the Muskoka Sanatorium in March 1915 where he died.
