Who is Mary Roscoe?

Mary Roscoe is an actress, director, theatre producer. who was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. She emigrated to the UK to train at Rose Bruford College.

Most recently she has appeared in the highly acclaimed film Unrelated by Joanna Hogg. Her TV work includes The Thieving Headmistress with Pauline Quirk, appearances as an archeologist and a farmer's wife on Chucklevision, and a minor role in one episode of Powers. She has also appeared in a Typhoo advert.

On stage she has appeared in productions such as Measure For Measure at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park and Blithe Spirit at the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch.

In 2000 she formed Roscoe Productions - their inaugural production Hell Is Other People premiered that year at the Red Pear Theatre in Antibes. She is on the creative panel of the Tristan Bates Theatre and on the board of directors for Look Theatre.
