Who was Mason Andrews?
Mason Cooke Andrews was the physician who delivered America's first in vitro baby, a president of the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society and a visionary leader of the late 20th century renaissance of his home town. Andrews served on the Norfolk City Council for 26 years and was mayor from 1992-1994.
