Who is Micah Grimes?
Micah Grimes is a basketball coach who was fired in January 2009 after his team, the Covenant School (of Texas) girl's varsity team beat their opponent 100-0. Despite leading 59-0 at halftime against a school that was winless in four seasons, Grimes' team continued to shoot three pointers in the fourth quarter. After the school publicly decried the coach's decision to let his players continue to run up the score, Grimes sent an email to a local newspaper, expressing no remorse at his actions.
