Who is Michael Lowry?
Michael Lowry is an American actor best known for his role as Jake Martin on All My Children and appeared in over 400 episodes from 1996 to 2000. He has also appeared in the soap opera As the World Turns as Les Sweeney in 2004 and 2005. Among many guest-starring prime time appearances, he appeared in Las Vegas, The Drew Carey Show, Diagnosis: Murder, NCIS, and the memorable cross-over CSI-written 'whodunnit' episode of Two and a Half Men. In Season 5 of The King of Queens he and Marcia Cross recurred as Doug and Carrie's yuppie neighbors. Returning to soap operas in 2009, he appeared as Ross Rayburn on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. Coincidentally, just prior to entering school he guest-starred as defense attorney in one of the last episodes of the long-running, original "Law & Order" series.
Lowry grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and attended Oregon State University in Corvallis majored in biology. He planned to attend medical school before show business plans took him another direction.
