Who is Michael Uhl?
Michael Uhl is a Vietnam veteran antiwar activist, critic and independent scholar, born April 14, 1944, who grew up in Babylon, Long Island, New York. He graduated with a BS in Theoretical Linguists from the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Georgetown University. He spent his undergraduate junior year at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He holds an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in American Studies and Writing from the Union Institute and University.
