Who is Mike Burns?
Mike Burns is a former head men's basketball coach at Eastern Washington University. On May 30, 2007, Burns was relieved of his duties as head coach after three seasons. Eastern Washington subsequently reported itself to the NCAA on possible violations.
For 2007-2008, Burns was head coach at Community Colleges of Spokane, leading the team to a 30-2 record and year-long #1 ranking in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges league.
In March 2008, Burns left for an assistant position at the University San Diego.
