Who is Mike Lapper?
Michael "Mike" Steven Lapper was is a retired American soccer defender. During his fifteen-year career, most of it spent as a sweeper, he played in England, Germany and the United States. He earned 44 caps, scoring one goal, with the U.S. national soccer team between 1991 and 1995. He was part of the U.S. teams at both the 1992 Summer Olympics and the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
