Who is Mike Wooten?
Michael Carroll Wooten is a former American football center in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Virginia Military Institute. Also played football at Smithfield-Selma High School and graduated in 1981.
Wooten is now a football referee in the Atlantic Coast Conference at the position of umpire and he was selected to officiate the 2008 ACC Championship Game in Tampa, Florida.
His father, Carroll Wooten, was an assistant principal and assistant football coach under Coach Elbert Moye at Smithfield-Selma High School in Smithfield, NC.
