Who was Moms Mabley?

Jackie "Moms" Mabley, born Loretta Mary Aiken, was an American standup comedian. A veteran of the Chitlin' circuit of African-American vaudeville, she later appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and the The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
