Who was Claude Simons, Jr.?
Claude M. "Little Monk" Simons, Jr. was an American college football, basketball, and baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Tulane from 1942 to 1945 and amassed a 13–17–1 record. Simons served as the Tulane baseball coach from 1938 to 1941 and 1943 to 1949, and as the basketball coach there from 1938 to 1942.
