Frank "Muddy" Waters was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Hillsdale College, Saginaw Valley State University, and Michigan State University, compiling a career college football record of 173–96–7. Waters was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2000.
