Who is Murray Costello?

Murray Costello is a Canadian former ice hockey executive and former professional ice hockey player. He was president of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association then Hockey Canada. He also played in the National Hockey League, playing for the Chicago Black Hawks, Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings in a 163-game NHL career. Costello was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2005 as a builder.

His brother, Les Costello, was also a notable hockey player for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who was subsequently ordained as a Roman Catholic priest and founded the Flying Fathers, a team of priests who played exhibition hockey for charity.
